We are a family led company and we put our family values firmly at the heart of our business.

Our company values are broadly as you would expect in any confidential service; Collaboration, Stability, Effectiveness and Integrity but we underpin these with our own brand of Playfulness. I believe this is the best part of family so through all we do we weave our family values of Fun, Humour, Warmth, Openness, and Support.

We understand that working well with people outside the organisation starts by working well with everyone inside so we actively promote a culture of openness and honesty within our teams. Every new client or initiative presents a unique learning opportunity which is eagerly embraced. Any mistakes are spotted quickly and fixed together as a team.

We like to joke that the company motto is ‘We take our job seriously, but not ourselves’”.

It also doesn’t hurt that, like families across the country, each new addition, milestone and celebration is marked with cake.


We take a holistic approach to customer service and believe this is what really sets us apart from the competition. While most companies try to increase efficiency by the use of specialist departments, Cygnul allocate a named team of administrators to each customer who can deal with every task required. Even our smallest clients will have at least two named administrators who will work closely with the board and their wider organisation.

Customer experience is expected to overtake both price and product as the key brand differentiator (according to a 2013 survey) and in a post covid world we are finding that people particularly value the personal touch. Clients report that being able to pick up the phone and speak to the same person each time means that conversations are more efficient and working relationships are strengthened.

This really helps reinforce our general ethos of being people centric and I believe it is one of our greatest strengths when it comes to building communities and connections. When recruiting team members we actively look for individuals with empathy, an ability to think on their feet and great problem solving skills. Because of our holistic approach to service delivery every single role within the organisation is customer facing and individuals need to be able to move seamlessly between tasks, often juggling multiple conflicting priorities, particularly during events.
